CHINA CONSULATE'S NOTICE FOR H1N1 “SWINE†FLU PREVENTION
Starting from the first area Hochiminh City, it has been currently spread over different provinces throughout Vietnam. Among those, Hochiminh city is till leading with most confirmed cases. Through recent day-by-day increasing cases, the flu strain has been considered to have tendency to be widespread. In July 2, the city’s Service of Foreign Affair urgently called a meeting to update the epidemic strain as well as prevention and treatment measures etc. to all city-based Consulates General. Meanwhile, the agency would closely coordinate with all consulates general to deal with related issues of infected cases from foreign citizens.
To date, in Hochiminh city and neighboring provinces, there has been not any A/H1N1 influenza case from Chinese citizens. In order to be well prevented and to protect our staff’s health, our Consulate particularly appeals to Chinese citizens in Vietnam, especially in Hochiminh city and nearby for heightening precaution against the epidemic strain for the best disease prevention.
